Polyphonic Ringtones

A polyphonic ringtone can consist of several notes at a time. The first polyphonic ringtones used sequenced recording methods such as MIDI. Such recordings specify what synthetic instrument should play a note at a given time, and the actual instrument sound is dependent upon the playback device. Polyphonic tones incorporate digitally-encoded instrument tracks in an attempt to digitally recreate the sound of a song, while the truetones are actual clips of the songs.

Usually polyphonic tones sound great on all phones, including older models and those with limited speaker capability. Browse Polyphonic Ringtones
