Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones

The collaboration between Sony and Ericsson corporations began in October 2001 and represented the most important junction on the cell phone market. The two companies decided to work together to combine the expertise they had in consumer electronics and telecommunications. As a result they gave up work on creating their own mobile phones to come up with the Sony Ericsson mobile phone models that has made the new company the fifth most important world manufacturer of cellulars.

There are other electronic equipment items produced besides the Sony Ericsson mobile phones, such as wireless systems, hi-tech accessories, wireless voice devices and all sorts of other gear products. The company was propelled way ahead of its competitors thanks to the phones in the cyber-shot and the Walkman series. Candy bar phones are also very popular besides the Walkman and the cyber-shot designs.

Sony Erricson mobile phones are great for all categories of users regardless of age, gender or social status. They look sleek and stylish, but they also meet high operational standards. The Sony Ericsson mobile phones that belong to the Walkman series were launched in 2005. They marked a great innovation moment because of the music-centric features unavailable with other phones. The Cyber-shot phones were produced in 2006 as the newer K series. The major technical specificity of such phones consists of the UIQ interface platform, the nice touch screens and the QWERTY keypads.

The mobile phones in the Xperia range were issued in February 2008 at the Mobile World Congress that was held in Barcelona. This telephone opened the path for the integration of the Windows Mobile Operating System into the Sony Ericsson powerhouse smart-phone.
