Blackberry Curve – It’s Out And It’s Good!

Blackberry is a trusted name that will be sure to give you a reliable product, and this is certainly true of the Blackberry Curve. You will be astonished at the quality of this phone. RIM have clearly had their thinking caps on and have not cut any corners with their latest offering. So, what is so great about it? For starters, you get an easy to use 2 megapixel camera, a great multi-media package, and a battery that will just keep on going.

The compact, attractive design is sure to please, and the 320×240 pixel resolution on the 2.5″ display will enable you to easily read everything from the news to your emails. Additionally, you get a normal 3.5mm headphone jack, a push-to-talk button on the side, and a USB port. The buttons and switches are all in the places that you would expect them to be, and after an hour of using it you will easily be able to operate it one-handed.

The Blackberry Curve was made with media in mind, and the new features in that respect are sure to please. The 2 megapixel camera found on the Blackberry Curve can take pictures that look great as a 4×6 glossy. The quickly running media player allows for video and audio files of almost any file format, and your email account is easily synchronized with the handset. It supports up to ten email accounts at a time, giving you unprecedented access to your contacts no matter where you are or how far you are from a computer.

Online surfing is a breeze, too, with functionality much higher than standard cell phones. Opening and navigating webpages is very simple. Giving you four consecutive hours of nonstop verbal communication, and an impressive four full days of normal usage, the Blackberry Curve’s battery life is clearly superior to many other smart phones out there nowadays. Sound clarity during your phone calls is very crisp and reliable, as well, (although a higher volume capacity would have improved this even more).

While the Blackberry Curve does not really compete with the HTC Desire or iPhone 4, as those are far more expensive, this is a decent rival for the Samsung Wave, the LG Optimus or other such phones in that price range. It might not be the best, but neither is it lacking in cool features – you can get fantastic email connectivity, long battery life and a fantastic camera. You would be hard pressed to find a better phone than the Blackberry Curve for the cost.
